Zack Sabre Jr. will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at NJPW New Beginning in Osaka.
Hirooki Goto earned a world title shot by winning the New Japan Ranbo at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. Sabre Jr. defended the gold against Shota Umino in the main event of the show. He also retained the title against Ricochet at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
Another title match has also been set for NJPW New Beginning in Osaka. The Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita) (c) will defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against Rocky Romero & YOH. Eagles and Fujita won the titles at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. They won the Tokyo Terror Ladder Match at the show.
