Liv Morgan thinks the most exciting part of Raw moving to Netflix is the potential for new viewers to discover the WWE.
The Women’s World Champion has been the biggest star in the women’s division over the past year. Her feud with Rhea Ripley began the night after WrestleMania 40. It will conclude with Raw’s debut on Netflix on Monday Night.
They expect to bring a huge audience, most notably a younger-skewing fanbase. This will likely be huge for WWE, as the interest in the current product continues to grow by the day.
In a recent interview with Emily Aslanian for TVInsider, Liv Morgan was asked what makes the move to Netflix so exciting for the WWE Superstars.
The WWE Women’s World Champion noted that the potential new viewers are the most exciting part. The opportunity for growth is huge, and she is hoping fans from the past and new fans alike will be tuning in to WWE on Netflix.
“What I’m excited about is all of the new potential viewers that are going be tuning in. Whether you’re joining us on Netflix because you’re already watching wrestling, or whether you’re going to pick it up because you’re just scrolling and you’re like, “Oh, nostalgia,” or if you’re like me and you choose something maybe you wouldn’t typically watch because you feel like you’ve watched everything and then you fall in love and become obsessed with it.” Liv Morgan said.
“I’m so excited for people to have that experience in watching Monday Night RAW. Seeing the amazing product that we put on week after week, and experiencing the energy of the live TV universe. I’m really excited for everyone to see us, genuinely. I feel like it hasn’t really sunken in yet. This is going to be a big deal,” added Liv Morgan
