On January 5, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and CMLL presented Wrestle Dynasty from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
In the main event, Zack Sabre Jr. defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Ricochet. Elsewhere on the show, Kenny Omega made his return to the ring, and the Young Bucks challenged for the IWGP Tag Team Championship.
