TJPW held three big-time championship matches live from Korakuen Hall in its annual January 4 show to kick off the new year.
Yuki Arai defended her International Princess Championship against Suzume following their recent Tokyo Princess Cup encounter. Zara Zakher and TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich also challenged for Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh‘s Princess Tag Team Titles in the semi-final match. Headlining the show, however, was Miu Watanabe‘s sixth defense of the Princess of Princess Championship against Mizuki.

TJPW officially kicks off 2025 with two new singles champions in Suzume and Mizuki. Suzume’s victory marks her first singles championship gold in TJPW. Mizuki, on the other hand, becomes one of only four women to have held the belt more than once. She joins Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, and Yuka Sakazaki in the prestigious list of multi-time P.O.P. champions.
