A title match has been announced for the January 10th episode of WWE SmackDown.
As confirmed on the January 3rd episode, Shinsuke Nakamura will defend the WWE United States Championship against LA Knight. This comes after Knight confronted Nakamura following his win over Andrade on Friday and told the champion he was coming for him.
The title match was confirmed during a backstage segment later in the show.
LA Knight previously won the WWE United States Championship by defeating Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam. Nakamura defeated him to win the title at WWE Survivor Series.
As of this writing, no other matches or segments have been announced for the January 10th episode of WWE SmackDown.
