A WWE RAW star is reportedly at the WWE SmackDown taping. Plus, the two brands will see talent from the other show appear for a while.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Drew McIntyre was at the WWE SmackDown taping on January 3, and he was expected to appear on the show. Per Johnson, the word making the rounds within the last week was that McIntyre was expected to move to SmackDown. WWE previously announced that they would be reshuffling the rosters with the transfer window. This comes alongside RAW and SmackDown moving to three hours.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirmed that Drew McIntyre is at SmackDown, and other RAW talent is there as well. Per Sapp, it’s expected that RAW talent will be at SmackDown tapings moving forward. Sapp wrote that both brands will feature appearances from the other show for a while, and some will make a more permanent move.
WWE RAW’s Sami Zayn has been announced for the January 3 episode of WWE SmackDown. He and The Usos will face The Bloodline.
