WWE Announces Injuries To The Street Profits

The Street Profits are not cleared to compete on WWE SmackDown.

In a post on Instagram, Nick Aldis announced that The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) were both hurt this past week on live events, and they reaggravated existing injuries. As a result, they were not cleared to compete on the January 3 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Aldis said that they would be out “for the foreseeable future.” He then announced that #DIY would defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against the Motor City Machine Guns on Friday night.

Further details about the injuries that Ford and Dawkins suffered were not immediately provided.

Ford and Dawkins last competed at the WWE live event on December 28. There, they competed in a four-way tag team title match. The duo last competed on WWE television when they defeated Los Garza on the December 27 episode of WWE SmackDown.

The Street Profits are former RAW and SmackDown tag team champions.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
