WWE is reportedly planning a new “NXT Evolve” show, and it would be in addition to WWE LFG.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that NXT Evolve will premiere at some point in 2025, and it will be led by EVOLVE founder Gabe Sapolsky. Per Meltzer, the show would feature NXT developmental wrestlers, like NXT Level Up. This new series would be booked more like a television show. There was no word on when/where the show would air. Mike Johnson of PWInsider also reported that, among talent on the independent scene, an EVOLVE revival of some sort had been rumored. Per Johnson, no one in WWE had confirmed that EVOLVE was being revived. However, it was believed that tapings at the Performance Center would utilize WWE ID talents. Johnson also wrote that some independent talent believed that the tapings would be in late January or early February. This had not been confirmed either.
Additionally, Johnson wrote that Gabe Sapolsky had signed a new contract with WWE, and he would be in charge of the creative, and he had been “overseeing the WWE ID brand thus far.”
Furthermore, the WWE LFG series on A&E is expected to replace NXT Level Up, as previously reported.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
