Report: Ric Flair Was Scheduled For AEW Collision, Not Expected To Appear

Ric Flair was reportedly expected to appear at the AEW Collision taping in Charlotte, but the plans were nixed.

Flair has been absent from AEW programming since AEW Revolution in March 2024. He was part of Sting’s last match at the pay-per-view, where Sting and Darby Alin beat The Young Bucks. Flair noted in July that he had not heard from AEW in months. According to a new report, a planned appearance for Flair will no longer be happening.

Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Ric Flair was scheduled for a “cameo” for the AEW Collision taping in Charlotte on January 4. However, he is no longer expected to appear.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express will appear at AEW Collision on Saturday, and they have been announced for the January 22 taping of AEW Dynamite.
