Big Boom AJ Says He’s Aiming To Wrestle At AEW Revolution

Big Boom AJ says he’s aiming to wrestle at AEW Revolution.

Big Boom AJ of The Costco Guys feuded with QT Marshall heading into AEW Full Gear, and he appeared on AEW programming ahead of the show. At AEW Full Gear: Zero Hour, AJ defeated Marshall. However, he suffered a broken foot, and he has been sidelined ever since. AJ appeared at AEW Christmas Collision, and he has said that he plans to be at AEW All In Texas.

Speaking with Cultaholic’s Tom Campbell, Big Boom AJ’s son Big Justice said that he was going to wrestle in March. AJ then elaborated and said that he was “gunning for” a match at AEW Revolution on March 9. (H/t Aidan Gibbons of Cultaholic)

“We’re looking at, you know, talking to the AEW team it looks like I’ll be at Revolution in March,” AJ said. “So that’s what we’re gunning for right now. Maybe an appearance before that but that’s what we’re looking at right now.”

Big Boom AJ On His Future With AEW

At the AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum, Big Boom AJ discussed his future with AEW. He made it clear that he enjoyed working with the company.

“I think I’m having a lot of fun where I am right now,” AJ said. “I think I’m really loving everything that Big Justice and I have an opportunity to do. Again, we talked about some of the creatures that we’ve been with. There’s a lot we’re doing right now.

“So I don’t think a championship run is in my future. I think that would take a lot of dedication that I’m not sure I have right now, but to be here at AEW and wrestle multiple times throughout the year and see where that goes, I think that’s kind of more of the direction I’m leaning, but I’m getting a sad from over here [from Tony Khan] so.”
