Hollyhood Haley J is determined to become a star in the WWE.
She was recently featured on the Netflix documentary The Wrestlers and had a match against Skye Blue in 2023. Speaking with The Two Man Power Trip Podcast, Hollyhood Haley J spoke about her aspirations of wrestling for the WWE.
“I always say I’m bred to be a TV star, so I’m not really looking to put in all my time on the indies. I want to go to major TV companies and work TV-style wrestling.” Haley J said.
“The ultimate goal is to go to WWE. It always has been since day one—that’s where I’m going to make the most money and where I’ll be able to support my family. That’s where I want to go.”
“As far as leaving OVW, I just need different training. I’m going to head over to Reality of Wrestling, Booker T’s school, and learn a different hold, different type of training. I’ve been here at OVW for almost four years now, and it’s time to go somewhere else and learn from someone who has also made it to the big leagues, done great things, and is still there,” she added.
Hollyhood Haley J On Potentially Going To WWE
Hollyhood Haley J was asked if she would be comfortable being asked to go to NXT is signed to WWE. She responded by saying she would be a star anywhere. Additionally, she mentioned that she only knows how to be the “top dog” and would quickly become a top star in the company if given the opportunity.
“WWE is the ultimate goal, but AEW, NWA, WOW, MLW—any major TV promotion—I just want to be on TV. I’m a TV star.” Haley J said.
“Perfect, let me show you what I can do. Then I’ll work my way right to the top. I’d tell them, ‘Guess what? Who’s in charge now? Triple H? Guess what, Triple H—I only know how to play one position, and that’s top dog.’”
“So, it doesn’t matter where you put me. You can put me in NXT, on Raw, on SmackDown, or even in New Japan. I’m gonna figure it out, and I’m gonna make my way to the top.”
