One of the professional wrestling veterans is two-time WWE Women’s Champion Lisa Marie Varon. In WWE she was known as Victoria. Recently the former WWE Superstar signed a legend’s contract with the Stamford-based promotion.
During a recent Live Virtual Signing on Whatnot, Lisa Marie Varon provided more details about her Legend’s Contract. Varon shared that WWE calls it a Nostalgia Contract. The former WWE Superstar also mentioned that she will not be getting her own WWE Funko Pop any time soon.
“You guys are asking about the legends stuff. I don’t get merch for a year. So, I asked if I was gonna get Funko POP! and they said, ‘Hey, don’t get ahead of yourself,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay.’ That’s probably a no, so, these POP’s that I have — I don’t have all of them. I get the other nine in April.
“I got a Legends contract. They call it Nostalgia contract. So, I’ll be getting more product. They’re gonna be making more product of me. But, not for nine to 12 months. That’s how long it takes to create.” [H/T POST Wrestling]
Lisa Marie Varon will not be getting free tickets for WrestleMania 41
Lisa Marie Varon also shared that her current ‘Nostalgia Deal’ does not get her free tickets for this year’s WrestleMania 41.
“See, the thing with me… when I go to the shows, I don’t ask for free tickets. I like to support the product but, I’m not one to bug and go, hey, can I come to the show? I think someone said, ‘Hey, do you get free tickets on WrestleMania?’ I go, ‘Absolutely not. Are you kidding me? I wouldn’t even ask. I wouldn’t ask. I’d be embarrassed.’ I was so — just so excited about getting the Nostalgic Legends contract.
“Now, I can use the WWE logo, I can use ‘Victoria’ on my (advertisements), which is incredible and you know, that’s my home and I’m just very proud to be a part of the company still. Very excited… I still can’t believe it. It’s weird. I don’t know if they don’t comp, but I don’t ask for freebies. I don’t know. You might see me there. I don’t know,” Lisa Marie Varon said.
