One of the top stars in WWE is former WWE United States Champion R-Truth. He also holds the record for capturing the 24/7 Championship for the most times. Truth has captured the now-retired title a record 54 times.
There have been many funny segments when R-Truth was the 24/7 champion. While speaking to Chris Van Vliet on his Insight Podcast, the 54-time 24/7 Champion mentioned that the wedding segment with Drake Maverick was one of his favorite segments in his career.
“Oh, man, there were so many of them that was good. I could tell you some good stories. The plane was good. Drake’s wedding was good. [Wasn’t that his actual wedding?] That was his real wedding. Y’all, that was funny. The thing in New York, the Christmas light tree. Oh, man, they robbed us so bad. The guy had the horses, and we had to pay him more money for the horses to run. They wouldn’t even run. They would try and it was cold. New York is cold. He was like If my horse won’t run, my horse won’t run. The camera man tried to get him to get the horses to run, pull out $20 and the horses started to trot. You would think it was in slow motion because we got a $20 trot,” R-Truth said.
