Leave it to R-Truth to bring a ladder into the Royal Rumble match.
WWE Superstar R-Truth was a recent guest on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. When asked about the time he brought a ladder into the 2016 Royal Rumble match, Truth revealed that the idea came from a fan.
“That was a fan’s idea,” R-Truth admitted. “Yes, I do read those tweets. I see them all too. So watch what you say. But, yeah, I saw a fan tweet that. I see you running in there, going in with the ladder. And I was like, Oh my gosh, that’s funny. Took it to creative, and they was like, let’s do it.”
Heading into the 2025 Royal Rumble later this year, Truth is currently locked in a feud with Pete Dunne on Monday Night RAW. The story being Dunne is tired of Truth referring to him by his previous name, Butch. It’s unclear how long this feud is scheduled to continue.
