With a new year, comes new goals, or in some cases, the same goals. For WWE Superstars, these aspirations range from championship victories to mass destruction and even to the shaving of a controversial mustache.
“You want to know my goals for 2025? Okay, one is to continue being the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time,” said WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan (via X). “Two is to become triple champ with Raquel Rodriguez. We’ll become new Women’s Tag Team Champions. And three is to continue flourishing my perfect relationship with Daddy Dom. Haha. I’m a goal getter.”
Much like Morgan, WWE SmackDown star LA Knight is eyeing additional championship gold in 2025. In his case, it’s the Intercontinental Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Undisputed WWE Championship, and the United States Championship, the latter of which he recently lost to Shinsuke Nakamura.
After stealing the Winged Eagle WWE title from Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Kevin Owens has a clear vision for the next 10 years of his career. “To make sure that everyone knows I am the true, rightful WWE Champion, and I will try to remain the WWE champion as long as I possibly can. Forget the goal in 2025, it’s a goal for the next decade,” he said.
For Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio, his main focus is more existential. “[The goal is] to not be so misunderstood and hated because I’m just a chill guy,” he said. Unfortunately for Mysterio, it doesn’t look like he, or rather his mustache, will be gaining any favor from former WWE Champion CM Punk anytime soon.
“[I want to] win the Royal Rumble, beat everybody, win. all the titles,” Punk said. “Continue to make New Day dress in the janitor’s closet and shave Dominic Mysterio’s mustache.”
Regarding The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, their goal is quite simple — gaining more championship gold. Why? Because, much like their collective name, it’s a new day.
Final Testament’s Karrion Kross, on the other hand, is approaching this year with a much more sinister outlook. “To destroy as many lives as possible, that’s always very important,” he said.
