Multiple matches have been added to the card for NXT New Year’s Evil.
As announced on the December 31 episode of WWE NXT, Lexis King will defend the NXT Heritage Cup against Charlie Dempsey. King beat Dempsey to win the Heritage Cup on the December 24 episode. They will now clash in a rematch on January 7. The match will be contested under Sudden Death Rules.
Additionally, Stephanie Vaquer, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Cora Jade will clash in a Number One Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Fallon Henley currently holds the title.
A six-woman tag team match has also been added to the card. Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx of Fatal Influence will face Gigi Dolin, Shotzi, and Tatum Paxley. The two trios have been feuding in recent weeks.

- Sudden Death Rules match for NXT Heritage Cup: Lexis King (c) vs. Charlie Dempsey
