Deonna Purrazzo is showing the benefits of online education.
Purrazzo is featured in a new commercial for Southern New Hampshire University, a college known for its online degrees and national accreditation program. Purrazzo graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SNHU in 2023.
The new commercial is called ‘Learn anywhere’ and it features alumni like Purrazzo touting the benefits of an online degree program at SNHU.
“I didn’t need to be anywhere to register, I didn’t need to talk to anyone in person. Everything could be done through my laptop or over the phone,” Purrazzo said in the ad. “I was ringside writing papers and getting journals done.”
The AEW star recently began a program with Toni Storm. The pair will face off against each other on the January 4 episode of AEW Collision.

Deonna Purrazzo is finding her groove in AEW
Deonna Purrazzo was a recent guest on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. When asked what goals she has left to accomplish in wrestling, Purrazzo said she needs to win the AEW Women’s World title. Purrazzo felt like she got comfortable in TNA, but had to find herself again in AEW. Now that she’s more comfortable in a new environment, she believes she’s on her way to new heights.
“I gotta win the AEW Women’s World Championship,” Purrazzo said. “Going there and just knowing the type of environment it is and the complete new set of girls that I’ve never worked with, I knew it was going to be a challenge to, I don’t want to say conform, but relearn a system.
“I’d been comfortable at TNA for so long. I knew the system, I knew the people, I knew the position I was in. I was on top there, so there was more leeway for me to give my opinion or pitch ideas coming into AEW. You kind of need to earn those rights all over again. So I think, yes, there’s still so much left for me to do.
“I feel like I’m just now feeling like myself again. Feeling like okay, this is The Virtuosa. I’ve been there nine and a half months now. That first stretch, it was like I don’t know what I’m doing or who I am. I’m working a brand new system with television and times, and I felt really thrown off. So I feel like now I’m finally getting in a groove that will propel me.”
