Lita looks back on her match with Becky Lynch.
WWE Hall of Famer Lita returned to WWE in 2022 and competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble. She then faced Becky Lynch at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Speaking with Inside The Ropes, Lita looked back on her match with Lynch.
“It was fun, and I embraced it, but I really leaned on Becky,” Lita said. “She had come to me for so much advice over the years and asked my opinion on things. I’m like, ‘Girl, you need to help me. I want to make sure I don’t make you look bad, I don’t want to look bad. Help me.’
“To know she has my back just as much as I have hers, and to be able to have that moment, while leaning on her, another full-circle moment…Also, it was very different, unlike the time in my first chapter of my career, I was so in the moment. I could feel everything happening, and I could sit there, like, this is cool. This feels really big.”
Lita had another brief run in 2023, as she, Lynch, and Trish Stratus teamed up together at WWE WrestleMania 39. Lynch and Lita had a brief reign as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
As of this writing, there is no word on if or when Lita will return to the ring.
