Wade Barrett says Michael Cole and Pat McAfee are up.
The December 30 episode of WWE RAW marked the final show before the Netflix premiere. It also marked the end of Wade Barrett’s run on commentary on RAW. Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will return to RAW commentary on January 6. In doing so, they will replace Barrett and Joe Tessitore.
In a tweet, Wade Barrett commented on the end of his time on WWE RAW commentary. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and his excitement for the Netflix premiere. Barrett said that he would Tessitore would see fans on the RAW post-show on January 6.
Barrett previously moved to WWE SmackDown in October 2022 after he had a run on NXT. He then shifted over to RAW in August 2023. Barrett went back to SmackDown at the end of January 2024. He and Tessitore later became the RAW commentary duo on September 2.
