CM Punk and Seth Rollins had a heated confrontation on WWE RAW. They referenced Becky Lynch, Vince McMahon, and more.
One week ahead of their match at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere, CM Punk and Rollins both came to the ring. Rollins noted that Punk took his ball and went home when he left WWE years ago. Punk called that a boot-licker line. He noted that he hadn’t seen “The Man” around in some time and wondered if she took her ball and went home.
Rollins and Punk continued to go back and forth, as Rollins got fired up while he talked about how Punk had left WWE and tried to tear it down. He referenced Punk blasting WWE on Colt Cabana’s podcast and later signing with “the competition”, referring to AEW, for a big chunk of change. He also brought up Punk getting fired by AEW.
CM Punk responded that he loved WWE, but he hated the guy in charge, referring to Vince McMahon. He noted that McMahon loved Rollins. Punk said that Rollins put arrows in his back, and he had to leave so that he could get the arrows out. Punk vowed to jam the arrows down Rollins’ “corporate throat.”
Finally, Rollins called CM Punk a cancer to the locker room and the business. He said that the only way to deal with cancer was to cut it out. He told Punk that he would burn him to the ground with his heart full of hate and rage.
