Julia Hart Reflects On Her AEW Return, Says She Missed The Adrenaline Rush

Julia Hart discusses her return to AEW programming.

After Julia Hart lost the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at AEW Dynasty, she was absent from AEW programming for several months due to injury. Hart returned at AEW Collision Winter Is Coming, where she attacked Hayter. She is set to face Hayter at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen on January 1.

Speaking with Lauren Coates for Variety, Julia Hart commented on her return. She also noted that she had ideas for the vignettes that led into her return months ago.

“That adrenaline rush is what I miss most from being gone for eight months. I could literally feel it through my legs I was so excited,” Julia Hart said. “I was trying not to shake.

“The first time I got hurt, back in January while I was still champion, I couldn’t wrestle for like five weeks. I had these ideas set for that, but they didn’t make sense at the time because I was still onscreen. I’ve always had these in my back pocket, but I think I didn’t know what they were.”

Julia Hart: I Have A Lot To Learn

Hart then noted that she still had a lot to learn, as she was only a few years into wrestling,

“I call myself the ‘Princess of the Black Throne’ instead of the ‘Queen’ because I feel like princesses are more naive,” Hart said. “I still have a lot to learn, I still have so much more to go. I’m just a couple years into wrestling. Learning more in-ring wise, and figuring out people’s brains better, because I love to be the keeper of secrets. Figuring people out, figuring out their weaknesses, how to tear them down and beat them.”
