Dax Harwood says teaming up with Adam Copeland will be a “helluva ride” following his return at AEW Worlds End.
Copeland returned from injury at AEW Worlds End. He and FTR took the fight to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. FTR and Copeland, collectively known as FTR, will face Moxley and the Death Riders at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen.
On December 29, Dax Harwood took to Twitter and commented on joining forces with Adam Copeland.
“‘You can make friends or you can make money”. How about both? This will be a helluva ride and I’m thankful yall are in board. Full circle. RatedFTR.”
In the post, Harwood included a picture of Copeland and FTR during their time in WWE.
Adam Copeland’s Goals
Copeland discussed his goals following his return during the AEW Worlds End post-show media scrum.
“I mean, if you can think of a goal, that’s what we’re going after,” he said. “I think [FTR] should be tag team champions, I think we should win the trios championships. I’m going after the world heavyweight championship. For a while, when I first got here, I was like, okay, I’m here. I’ve gotta get the lay of the land. I’ve gotta get everybody to know who I am. But that’s gone. Now, it’s time to be here to make a difference. To show everybody exactly who I am, exactly who [FTR] are. There’s a reason that I’ve accomplished everything I’ve accomplished in this industry. There’s a reason that nobody can scratch what I’ve accomplished.
“Take a look, nobody can. It may sound egotistical, it may sound cocky, but when it’s true, it’s just confidence. My plan is to go after Jon Moxley in a match that we’ve never seen before, between two guys who are at the top of their field, and go out there and go what we do, which is to have kickass, old, grinding, gritty NWA World Heavyweight Title matches type vibe. That’s what I want to get out of him. That’s what I’m looking forward to, and it’s gonna happen sooner than later.”
