Erick Rowan and Bo Dallas grew closer after working together, following Bray Wyatt’s death.
The former WWE Champion passed away in August 2023. Plans for his Wyatt Sicks faction were put on the shelf, although it was later revived by Bo Dallas the following year.
Uncle Howdy made his first WWE appearance since Bray Wyatt’s death in June. He was portrayed by Bo Dallas, who led the faction which included Erick Rowan in a new role in the WWE.
While appearing on Dead Meat Presents…, Bo Dallas was asked about his relationship with Erick Rowan and if the Wyatt Sicks stable has given them a stronger relationship.
He confirmed that they have become much closer since debuting on Raw earlier this year. However, Bo Dallas did say that he and Erick Rowan already shared a relationship through his brother, Bray Wyatt, when Wyatt, Rowan and Luke Harper were in the Wyatt Family together.
“Yes, we did get closer—a lot closer. Even before that, with Brodie [Luke Harper/Brodie Lee], you know, that brought me, Windham [Bray Wyatt], and Rowan even closer together. It’s been a wild road. It’s crazy to think about where we are right now, you know?” Bo Dallas said.
Erick Rowan Had Talked With Bray Wyatt About Potential Reunion Before His Passing
The Wyatt Family is one of the most popular and creepy factions in the history of professional wrestling. Shortly after the faction had disbanded, stars such as Erick Rowan and Luke Harper (a.k.a Brodie Lee) were released from the company. Recently, Erick Rowan spoke about the possibility of the faction reuniting.
Back in 2021, Bray Wyatt was also released from his WWE contract. In September of 2022, he was re-hired. There were talks about the possibility of the return of the Wyatt Family as well. In a recent episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Rowan opened up about these rumors.
“Windham talked to me about wanting to involve me. But you know, it’s all about timing, and places, and story, and what works best for the company. It’s not all an individual’s decision. We’ve had conversations about like things we’d like to do and like stuff in the future. But life happens and things happen, and unfortunate things happen that are way more important than anything to do with this fictional wrestling that we do,” Rowan said.
