Konosuke Takeshita will defend the AEW International Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19.
NJPW confirmed the news after Takeshita defended the title against Powerhouse Hobbs at AEW Worlds End. He will face NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi for both titles at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. The winner of that match will defend both championships against Tomohiro Ishii at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
