Dax Harwood says if Adam Copeland wants to jump off a cage, let him jump off a cage.
Copeland suffered a fractured tibia at AEW Double or Nothing, where he jumped off the steel cage during his match against Malakai Black. Copeland returned at AEW Worlds End and joined forces with FTR.
At the AEW Worlds End post-show media scrum, Dax Harwood commented on the criticism regarding Copeland’s jump off the cage.
“If I could say something about Adam, it’s hard for me to bite my tongue on my tongue on a lot of things,” Dax Harwood said. “If I feel strongly about something, I want to say it. But this man is one of the greatest of all time, and I think we all know that. His career is what everybody strives to have when they start in professional wrestling. Just because he is who he is or at the age that he is, why can’t he go to the top of the cage and dive off? Why can’t he? If he wants to do it and he’s Adam Copeland, he’s had the career he’s had, why? So we have some of his peers and some of the people that like to criticize what we do, and they ask him, they question him.
“This is Adam Copeland. This is Adam f*cking Copeland. If he wants to jump off a cage, let him jump off a cage. If he breaks his leg, he breaks his leg, oh well, we move on, and we come back. That’s what we’ve done, we’ve come back.”
