Adam Copeland is back, and he has set his sights on Jon Moxley.
At AEW Worlds End, Jon Moxley defeated Hangman Adam Page, Orange Cassidy, and Jay White to retain the AEW World Championship. After the match, Moxley and The Death Riders went to attack White, but FTR came out. They weren’t alone, as Adam Copeland joined them. In doing so, he appeared for the first time since AEW Double or Nothing.
Copeland and FTR took the fight to The Death Riders. After a brief staredown, Copeland dropped Moxley with a Spear. After Moxley escaped, Copeland said that Rated FTR was taking it all.
The broadcast team subsequently confirmed that Adam Copeland and FTR would face Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli at AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen on January 1.
Copeland had been sidelined since AEW Double or Nothing in May. There, he beat Malakai Black to retain the TNT Championship, but he suffered a broken tibia in the match.
