JBL Teases Return To TNA, ‘See You Soon’

JBL teases that he’ll be back in TNA sooner rather than later.

WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) made multiple surprise appearances in TNA in the last few months of 2024. He most recently appeared at TNA Turning Point in November. During this run, he also made appearances in AAA, GCW, and MLW, among other companies.

In a tweet, JBL teased returning to TNA by writing, “2024 sounded great @ThisIsTNA. You will not believe what’s coming 2025. See you soon.”

As of this writing, there is no word on when JBL will return to TNA. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.

JBL On His Recent Appearances

JBL previously discussed his recent run on Something To Wrestle. He credited Bruce Prichard with coming up with a game plan. (H/T to Fightful for the transcription).

“I’ll tell you this, we’re talking about Bruce [Prichard], Bruce gave me the whole game plan. I won’t give you everything Bruce told me, but I told him I was bored, and I wanted to do something. Bruce laid out the entire gameplan of what he did, about what guys have done to create interest, to create something that’s worthwhile and something that is worth seeing.”

“He gave me this whole game plan. I have not really confided in him since because he’s so busy. I have confided in you [Conrad Thompson], and I have confided in Gerald Brisco. You’re probably the only two guys that know the stuff I’m doing. You made some phone calls that instantly got me into a lot of different places, which I greatly appreciate. But Bruce is the one who gave me the game plan for all this.

“There is an endgame to this. But it all came from Bruce. Bruce gave me this game plan a while back. He doesn’t know what I’m doing now, he doesn’t ask.”
