Two matches have been announced for the January 3 episode of WWE SmackDown.
As announced on the December 27 episode, Naomi will challenge Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship. Naomi is one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Bianca Belair. Naomi, Belair, and Bayley beat Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae on the December 27 episode.
Plus, Andrade will face WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match. Andrade targeted Nakamura in a video message on Friday’s show.
The announced card is as follows:
- WWE Women’s Championship: Nia Jax (c) vs. Naomi
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Andrade
