Jeff Hardy says he wants to face CM Punk and go into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Hardy has been having a resurgent run in TNA in recent months. He and Matt Hardy won the tag team titles at TNA Bound For Glory. Moving forward, Jeff still hopes to end his career in WWE.
Speaking with Tim Hann Rivera at HOG Live for the Moment, Jeff Hardy was asked to name his ideal retirement match.
“Ultimately man, I’d like to do a match in the WWE and do the Hall of Fame and all that stuff to really end it on the highest note possible. Because looking back at my career now, the history is just a glimpse, like the blink of an eye. When you achieve so much and then you’re here at this point older in life, so it’d really be special to have a killer match, maybe make CM Punk retire and then go into the Hall of Fame.”
Matt Hardy On The Hardys’ Current Run
Matt Hardy recently on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy commented on The Hardys’ current run.
“Jeff and I, we were talking about this last week whenever we did TNA in North Carolina,” Matt Hardy said. “We rode together both days there and back. I’m the driver of the team, and as we were driving back the second night, we were like, ‘Man, these last two nights,’ we both felt great. The crowd was just off the chart. It felt like we were wrestling in the year 2000 again.
“Especially night number two, the crowd as so passionate, they were so into what we were doing, and were really feeling good. The way we’re vibing together, the way we’re getting along together, everything is pitch perfect right now.”
