Mercedes Moné isn’t backing down from the challenge of Ring of Honor Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet.
Friday night during the Ring of Honor Final Battle Media Scrum, Red Velvet laid out a challenge to current AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. Tuesday evening, the champion chose to respond.
Moné took to social media to respond to Red Velvet’s challenge implying that she wants to hold four championship titles at once sooner rather than later, tweeting out:
“Girl, I don’t like to cook. I like to eat! I’ll take some tamales with some salsa Verde. Green > Red #4beltzmoné #ROH,” Mercedes Moné said in a post.
Mercedes will have the opportunity to add a third title to her collection on January 5 in Japan at Wrestle Dynasty as she will face Mina Shirakawa in a title-for-title match. Shirakawa currently holds the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
