Danhausen is back.
In the opening match at ROH Final Battle at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Atlantis Jr. faced Mansoor of MxM Collection. Mason Madden interfered throughout the bout, and Atlantis Jr. was outnumbered. However, late in the match, when Madden got involved again, a masked man emerged from underneath the ring. He revealed himself to be Danhausen, and he hit Madden below the belt. His interference helped Atlantis Jr. score the win.
After the match, Danhausen also saved Atlantis Jr. when Madden attacked him. He stuffed teeth in Madden’s mouth and hit him. Danhausen then raised Atlantis Jr.’s arm.
Danhausen has been absent from AEW programming since AEW Worlds End in December 2023 and later worked an ROH taping in February. In recent months, he has been active on the independent scene. In November, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (of Fightful Select) reported that there had not been conversations about bringing Danhausen back for quite some time, and a previous pitch for his return didn’t wind up happening.
