John Silver is banged up, but he still wrestled at ROH Final Battle.
ROH held ROH Final Battle at the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 20. In the opening match of the Zero Hour pre-show, John Silver and Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order faced the Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drajke and Zack Gibson). During the match, the broadcast team noted that Silver was dealing with a torn hamstring. Silver’s leg was taped up, so the injury was visibly apparent.
The torn hamstring played into the story of the match, as the Grizzled Young Veterans targeted Silver’s leg throughout the bout. The Grizzled Young Veterans went on to win the match.
