A former ROH World Champion is in town for ROH Final Battle weekend.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Bandido is in town for AEW’s eventful weekend at the Hammerstein Ballroom. AEW/ROH will hold ROH Final Battle, AEW Collision, and AEW Dynamite at the venue over the next three days.
Bandido has been featured in vignettes on AEW Dynamite in recent weeks, as his return is seemingly imminent. The former ROH World Champion has been sidelined since June 2023 due to injury. Sapp recently reported that Bandido had been cleared to return. This came after Ibou of Wrestlepurists reported that he was backstage at an episode of AEW Dynamite in October.
In his previous run in ROH, Bandido also won the six-man tag team titles. He has won gold in The Crash, DDT, PWG, and PROGRESS, among other promotions.
