QT Marshall Takes Pride In Being A Selfless Wrestler, Hopes Fans Get Lost In The Moment

QT Marshall is just as happy with an arena full of fans booing him as he would be getting cheered, because it means he did his job.

Marshall spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about his history in the wrestling business. He was asked what he hoped fans would talk about more regarding his resume. He admits that being so selfless in wrestling isn’t always the best decision, but it’s the way he was taught. Marshall says he can’t explain things publicly and share reasons for booking decisions. Despite that, they are always about the bigger picture.

“My biggest thing is being selfless. It’s the way I have been, it’s the way I was brought into the industry. My mindset is a little bit different, and it is not always the greatest choice as a performer,” Marshall explained. “Just know that when I am out there, it’s not just about me and it’s not just about one certain thing. There’s a broader reasoning for why I am doing what I am doing. So, if you are that critical fan that really knows a lot about professional wrestling, just take that into account as well.”

QT Marshall wants fans to get lost in the moment

Marshall has been part of other stables during his time in All Elite Wrestling, like QTV and The Factory. He’s mainly working solo in his current run with the company, which means he gets to be a little more selfish than in the past.

“I guess that’s something that I really hope that fans kind of latch on to. Hopefully [they] just get lost in the moment and have a great time. That’s my job. Just go out there, let fans forget about everything that’s going on in their everyday life and have a wonderful experience in professional wrestling, whether they are booing or cheering,” Marshall said. “Again, if a whole arena is booing me, it’s the same as the whole arena cheering me. Because that’s probably the reaction that I am trying to elicit from them.”
