Moose has warned fans to stop getting their news from Twitter.
The former TNA World Champion became the X-Divison Champion on November 8 when he beat “Speedball” Mike Bailey on TNA Impact.
Despite claims that TNA retired the X-Division championship at a TV taping, Moose has taken to Twitter to dismiss the “fake news” on display. He also denied there was any bad morale in the TNA locker room, with rumors stemming from the re-introduction of former TNA World Champion Tessa Blanchard into the roster.
In his post, Moose claimed the reports were “fake news”. He urged fans to stop getting their news from Twitter while also plugging TNA’s weekly show on Thursdays.
“A lot of Fake News on Twitter. 1. X Division championship being retired 2. Bad morale in TNA locker room Guys stop getting your news from twitter. Regarding what’s going to happen to the X division championship tune in to @AXSTV Thursday at 8pm EST and order GENESIS 1/19/25″ Moose wrote.
Moose Doesn’t Like ‘Option C’ For The X-Division Championship
Despite apparently wanting to retire the X-Divison Championship, Moose thinks it is too prestigious to use it for “Option C”.
“Option C” is when the X-Division Champion can relinquish their title for a shot at the TNA World Championship. It has been done numerous times over the years and was first started by Austin Aries in 2012.
Despite the speculation, Moose took to social media this morning to dispell the idea of option C and made it clear that he wants to make the X-Division Title the most important title in TNA Wrestling, tweeting out:
“OPTION C is one pretty much saying that the X Division Championship isn’t as important as the TNA World Championship. Well it’s time to change that fucking narrative. I’m going to make the X Division Title the most important and prestigious Title in @ThisIsTNA. TRUST THE F**KING SYSTEM FACE OF THE FRANCHISE,” Moose said in a post.
