ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and Billie Starkz will main event ROH Final Battle at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Athena confirmed that she and Billie Starkz will main-event the pay-per-view.
“We will be the first women to main event at Hammerstein, as far as I know,” she said. “As far as Ring of Honor goes, anyway. So that could be a really cool moment. Another history on the belt there, so yeah. It’s really cool to get another notch on the belt. “
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that the title match was planned to be the main event. During the media call on December 17, Tony Khan said that ROH Final Battle would be a double main event, with the other half being the world title match between Matt Cardona and Chris Jericho.
Athena previously defended her title against Starkz at ROH Final Battle 2023. They also main-evented that show.
