WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Draws 2.3 Million Viewers On NBC, Peacock

The viewership information for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is now available.

Wrestlenomics reports that Saturday’s show drew 1.590 million viewers and a 0.42 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic on NBC. The show was up against the Heisman Trophy presentation on ESPN (2,251,000 viewers and a 0.62 P18-49 rating) and the NBA Cup semi-final game (1,890,000 viewers and a 0.47 P18-49 rating).

Saturday Night’s Main Event also streamed on Peacock; these numbers were not included in the report. Per Joe Otterson of Variety, Peacock, 700,000 viewers streamed the show live on Peacock.

The previous Saturday Night’s Main Event special in 2008 drew 2.4 million viewers.

Branton Thurston of Wrestlenomics noted that the show ranked #2 on broadcast primetime. The Heisman Trophy presentation ranked first.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event was headlined by Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. Elsewhere on the show, Chelsea Green faced Michin in the finals of the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament.

Plus, Gunther defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest and Finn Balor. The show also saw Liv Morgan defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY, and Drew McIntyre faced Sami Zayn.
