Zoey Stark Advances In WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament

Another competitor advanced in the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament on the December 16 episode of WWE RAW.

The tournament continued with the third of four first-round matches on Monday. Raquel Rodriguez clashed with Zoey Stark and Kayden Carter. In the end, Stark pinned Carter after hitting the Z-360.

Here’s how the match broke down, courtesy of our WWE RAW play-by-play coverage:

Carter sends Rodriguez flying with a rana. Stark is sent out of the ring. Carter lands a dive. After the break, Rodriguez sets up her finish. Stark breaks it up with a missile dropkick. Stark hits her finish on Carter for the win.

As a result, Stark advanced to the next round, where she will face Dakota Kai. Lyra Valkyria previously advanced to the semifinals. She will face the winner of the final first-round match, in which Natalya will face Alba Fyre and Kairi Sane.

WWE has yet to announce when the tournament finals will be held. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
