The Voice of the Voiceless has Something to Say

The crowd chants for Punk. Punk quips that they should be carefull, there are some who may be upset that they are chanting for him. Punk reminds us that he told Seth Rollins that he doesn’t think about him at all. With that, the last two weeks Rollins has crepts into his mind. Punk knows that at some point he’s going to be interupted by Rollins. Wearing a funny glasses doesn’t make you Elton John and putting on a pair of wrestling boots doesn’t make Rollins CM Punk. Punk admits to being the bad guy here.

There are no bad students, only bad teachers. So Punk promises if Rollins comes to the ring, he’ll give him the wrestling lesson that he always wanted. Rollins appears in the crowd. Rollins says he wanted to see Punk from the people’s perspective. As the crowd murmers, Rollins squints and says, even from up there Punk still looks like an @$$hole. Punk laughs and tells Rollins that he’s right where he belongs, in the crowd with the rest of the CM Punk fans. Rollins rants about putting the company on his back when Punk just wanted it to die.

Rollins says he has more WrestleMania main events than Punk ever will. Punk rolls out of the ring and hops the barricade. Rollins and Punk brawl. Referees and officials try to separte both men. Each time they are separated, on gets loose and the brawl continues.

Grade: B-

Punk was weridly off to start here tonight, but the segment picked up once he had Rollins to play off of. It may be time to retire the pull-apart brawl for a bit. It’s losing its effectivness for sure.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Breakker and Kaiser trade shots. Kaiser catches a boot from Breakker and slaps him in the face. Breakker takes Kaiser down and rains down strikes. Breakker levels Kaiser with a clothesline. Kaiser pokes Breakker in the eye and takes control. Kaiser kicks Breakker in the shoulder, focusing on Breakker’s injured limb. Breakker counters Kaiser’s suplex with one of his own. Kaiser rolls out of the ring. Breakker lands a diving clothesline off the apron. Kaiser slams Breakker down to the mat shoulder first. After the break, Breakker hits a Spear for the win.

Winner- Bron Breakker

Grade: C+

We’ve seen these two work together before and they usually make magic. This wasn’t that. This match was slow and the crowd was mostly dead for this one.

In-Ring Segment: Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez

The crowd drowns Dominik and Morgan out with boos as they try to speak. Morgan pulls out a bulhorn tells the crowd to shut up. Morgan gloats about 2024 being her year. Rhea Ripley inturupts. Ripley says this has gone on long enough. They need to settle this once and for all. Ripley annouces Adam Pearce has named her the number one contender. When Ripley takes back her title, all Morgan will have left is her chicken tender slut.

Grade: B

There was nothing special about any of this, but it’s the beggining of the end for this fued. It’s time for both Morgan and Ripley to move on. The segment gets a grade bump just becuase of that.

Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament Triple Threat Match: Kayden Carter vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Zoey Stark

Carter sends Rodriguez flying with a rana. Stark is sent out of the ring. Carter lands a dive. After the break, Rodriguez sets up her finish. Stark breaks it up with a missile dropkick. Stark hits her finish on Carter for the win.

Winner- Zoey Stark

Grade: C+

Quick TV match. Interesting that Stark came out on top. No clue where this IC title tournament is head (who am I kidding, this is going to Valkyria for reasons I’ll never understand).

WWE World Tag Team Championship Match: Judgment Day’s (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh) (c) vs. The War Raiders

Ivar runs over McDonagh. Erik slams Ivar ontop of McDonagh. McDonagh rolls out of the ring. After the break, Bálor takes control after a cheap shot from McDonagh. Ivar manages to tag in Erik. Erik clears the ring. The fight spills out of the ring. Bálor and McDonagh send Erik into the ring steps. After the break, Bálor tries to bring a chair in the ring. Someone grabs it from behind. Bálor turns around and the person removes their mask; it’s Damian Priest! Bálor rolls back into the ring and eat the War Machine. Erik pins Bálor.

Winners and NEW World Tag Team Champions, The War Raiders!

Grade: B

Good main event with solid action. The ending was predictale but still well done.

WWE Raw Review:

This week’s show featured a mix of solid storytelling, impactful segments, and some underwhelming matches. While the overall quality varied, the highlights came from strong character work and engaging story progression. Here’s the breakdown with a final grade based on individual match and segment grades.

The show had some highs, including the Punk/Rollins segment and the Tag Team Championship match, but the lows—such as the IC Title defense and underdeveloped tournament—dragged down the overall quality. Despite its flaws, the show succeeded in advancing key storylines, particularly with CM Punk and Seth Rollins, and crowned new champions, which always adds excitement.
