A new report provides an update on Jade Cargill‘s absence from WWE.
Cargill has been absent since she was attacked backstage on the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown. She was taken out in an ambulance, and she has not been seen since. At the time of the attack, she was one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Bianca Belair. Fightful Select previously reported that WWE sources said that Cargill was legitimately injured, as she was listed on the internal injury list, while other outlets said that it was part of a storyline.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that, per several higher-up sources, Jade Cargill has been working on some outside projects recently. Johnson writes that multiple WWE sources confirmed that Cargill was vacationing in the Bahamas as well.
Meanwhile, Naomi offered to fill in for Jade Cargill as Bianca Belair’s tag team partner on the December 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. They are set to defend the titles on the December 20 episode.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
