Hammerstone To Undergo Surgery For Knee Injury

Hammerstone has been sidelined with an injury, and he is set to undergo surgery.

At TNA Final Resolution, Hammerstone was set to compete in a three-way tag team match, but TNA announced that he was unable to compete due to an injury.

In a tweet, Hammerstone provided an update. He announced that he would be getting surgery because he suffered a knee injury.

“Unfortunately, I suffered a knee injury,” Hammerstone said. That’s why I’ve been out for a couple of weeks, and I’m gonna be out for some more because, for the first time in my wrestling career, I have to go get surgery, which really sucks, but I think I’ve been fortunate to be able to do it this long and avoid it.”

“Hopefully, optimistically, it’s looking like it’s gonna be a pretty minor procedure, and I should be back to the ring in not much longer than a couple weeks, Let’s hope that stays true. I’m gonna do everything I can to recover as fast as I can and get back to the ring.”

Hammerstone last wrestled in the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match at TNA Turning Point on November 29. He reportedly got banged up in the match. There is currently no word on when he will return to the ring.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
