WWE Women’s US Title Tournament Finals Set For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

The finals of the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament are set for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The December 13 episode of WWE SmackDown featured two semi-final matches. First, Michin scored the win against Tiffany Stratton. At the end of a hard-fought match, Stratton hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, but she didn’t get all of it. Michin then hit Eat Defeat for the win.

In the second semi-final, Chelsea Green defeated former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley to punch her ticket to the finals. She hit the Unprettiher to clinch the victory.

As a result, Green will face Michin in the tournament finals at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The winner will be the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Championship. Green and Michin have yet to win singles gold in WWE, so the victor of their match will accomplish a new milestone.

Michin previously advanced to the semi-finals by beating Lash Legend and Piper Niven. Green won her first-round match against Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport.
