Tessa Blanchard has returned to TNA, as she attacked a former champion at TNA Final Resolution.
At TNA Final Resolution, Jordynne Grace faced Rosemary in a singles match. The former TNA Knockouts World Champion was seemingly on the verge of victory when someone in a mask pulled the referee out of the ring. The individual attacked Grace and proceeded to drop her with a DDT. The individual then unmasked and revealed herself to be Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard stood tall as the match was stopped.
In a brief backstage interview, Blanchard said that she reminded everyone who TNA was built on, and she was back to take what was hers.
Blanchard was previously terminated by TNA/IMPACT in 2020, reportedly in response to her refusing to drop the IMPACT World Championship. She was previously accused of using racist language toward La Rosa Negra, but she denied the allegations. Blanchard had been wrestling for CMLL in recent months, and she won the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championships, but the titles were vacated due to her departure.
During Blanchard’s previous run in TNA, she also held the Knockouts Championship. She won the Knockout of the Year award in 2018 and the Wrestler of the Year award in 2019.
