Hammerstone was scheduled for action at TNA Final Resolution, but he was unable to compete due to injury.
At TNA Final Resolution, Hammerstone was set to team up with Jake Something and face PCO and Sami Callihan and The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz). In a backstage interview ahead of the main card, Gia Miller announced that Hammerstone would be unable to compete because he suffered an injury. No further details were immediately provided.
Hammerstone has not wrestled since he competed in the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match at TNA Turning Point on November 29. He reportedly got banged up in the match.
