A former WWE Champion is backstage at TNA Final Resolution, according to a new report.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that WWE’s AJ Styles is backstage at the show. Sources said that he was visiting and hanging out, and there is no word if he will be involved in the show.
Per Sapp, Styles appeared to be in good spirits, and he was not in a cast or brace, and he was not on crutches. Styles has been sidelined with an injury since the October 4 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Styles was previously the face of TNA for several years, and he held the world title five times. He also held the tag team titles and the X-Division Championship, among other accolades. Styles left TNA in 2014.
