Slater sends JDC to the outside with a dropkick. He dives onto him again. JDC rolls Slater up and puts his feet on the ropes to clinch the win.

Winner: JDC

Grade: B

Slater had a good outing here, as he is one of the most dynamic athletes on the roster. JDC winning was questionable, even if it was a tainted victory. Slater could have used a win here to gain momentum heading into the new year. Maybe this will set up a rematch, but it’s a questionable outcome nonetheless.

A video package hypes up the title match between Tasha Steelz and Masha Slamovich.

Grade: B

This was a solid outing for both men. Kazarian needed the win, as he is heading into the new year with the title shot he earned by winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. Kazarian thumbing Gresham in the eye helped protect him as well.

Fun clash of styles here with the classic David vs. Goliath story. KUSHIDA looked very strong in defeat, and Moose picked up a quality win. Moose winning the title sparked some controversy, but this was a solid step in his title reign.

https://twitter.com/ThisIsTNA/status/1867746175345910218

Grade: B+

Fun tag team match here. Jake Something had a great showing and came across like a badass. PCO and Callihan worked well together, and they’re a fun pairing. The Rascalz were great as always. TNA might be heating them up for a tag title shot, and this was a good way to do that.

Winner: Ace Austin

Grade: B

Competitive match here, and a quality win for Austin. The tribute to Bey with the Art of Finesse was a nice touch. It’ll be interesting to see where Austin goes next, given Bey’s absence.

Backstage, Frankie Kazarian comments on his win on the pre-show and highlights TNA’s successful year. He says he will be keeping an eye on the main event world title match.

https://twitter.com/ThisIsTNA/status/1867754696053539171

Backstage, Tessa Blanchard says she reminded everyone who this company was built on. She says she’s back, and she’s taking what’s hers.

Grade: B

Grace and Rosemary had a solid, competitive match, but the main story here is Blanchard’s return. Had her signing not been reported the morning of the show, this would have been a major surprise. Blanchard is a controversial figure, but maybe TNA is going with the “controversy creates cash” line of thinking. If the rumors are true, a feud between Grace and Blanchard could be Jordynne’s last program before she eaves, so hopefully TNA executes if that’s the case.

https://twitter.com/ThisIsTNA/status/1867761157756317727

Hendry celebrates after the match.

Grade: B+

Fun, hard-fought four-way here. Hendry winning is a good call, as fans continue to rally around him. The right time to pull the trigger on him seemed to be Bound For Glory, so hopefully his victory, if he does win the title, is still satisfactory. Santana and Maclin continue to impres, while Alexander was rock-solid as always.

Backstage, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth hypes up his title match later tonight.

Grade: B

Nothing wrong with a quality win over a former champion here. The outcome was never really in doubt, but the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation gave the match a boost.

Grade: B

Classic Hardy Boys match here, given their ties to TLC matches. Jeff diving off a balcony and going through a table was a fun callback. Hopefully, this win puts this feud to bed and The Hardys move on to other challengers, as it feels like they’ve been working with The System for a good chunk of their TNA run.

The broadcast team runs through TNA’s upcoming schedule.

Grade: B+

Francis did what he set out to do and delivered his best performance to date. Having a good opponent helped, as Nemeth can make anyone look great, but Francis held his own. They told the story of the match well, as Nemeth was overpowered and physically outmatched by Francis. Nemeth scoring a win without JBL’s help was a welcome change of pace. The post-match angle with Nemeth and Hendry teased at a heel turn for Nemeth, which would help differentiate their rematch from their first bout.
