Cody Rhodes will appear on the December 13 episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE announced that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owen would have “one final word” ahead of their title match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
As previously announced, the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament will continue with two semi-final matches. Chelsea Green will face Bayley, and Tiffany Stratton will face Michin.
Plus, Carmelo Hayes will face a mystery opponent.
Update: Nick Aldis later announced that LA Knight would face Solo Sikoa.
The updated card is as follows:
- Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens speak
- WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament: Chelsea Green vs. Bayley
- WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament: Tiffany Stratton vs. Michin

Kevin Owens On Cody Rhodes
Kevin Owens has been outspoken about Rhodes in recent interviews. Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, he took issue with Rhodes calling himself the quarterback of WWE.
“He made his own tracksuit, like his own WWE tracksuit, with the American Nightmare logo. He had QB stitched on the breast here, like quarterback. He’s going around telling people that he was the quarterback of this era. Nobody’s calling him the quarterback except himself.
“That’s one thing. The other thing is, he talked about how I had a Lamborghini, which, I guess that offends him. He owns his own tour bus and has a chauffeur. He had a driver that drives him around. So that’s also a thing.”
