AEW star Luchasaurus, also known as Killswitch, was hospitalized in September, and he was on oxygen because he had pneumonia in both of his lungs. A new report provides an update on his recovery.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) first reported the news about Luchasaurus being hospitalized. Bryan Alvarez discussed the situation on Wrestling Observer Live in early October and noted that the AEW star would be unable to train for a while, but the hope was that he would be able to return despite complications in his recovery.
Alvarez has reported an update about Luchasaurus, and he writes that he is “doing much better.” Per Alvarez, Luchasaurus is working hard towards a comeback,. He credits Tony Khan and AEW’s medical staff for their patience. The report also notes that AEW telling Luchasaurus to stay home the week before he collapsed may have saved his life.
