AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on December 11 for their Winter is Coming special.
According to Wrestlenomics, 594,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.17 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 586,000 viewers tuned in. The demo remained even from last week‘s episode, which also drew a 0.17 rating in the same demographic.
What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?
This week’s show kicked off with Jon Moxley and PAC defeating Orange Cassidy and Jay White via disqualification when Hangman Page got involved.
Will Ospreay defeated Claudio Castagnoli in a Gold League Continental Classic match. Castagnoli attacked following the match but was chased off by Darby Allin.
Adam Cole defeated Kyle O’Reilly to earn the right to challenge MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring at AEW Worlds End.
The main event saw Mariah May defeat Mina Shirakawa to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship. Toni Storm returned following the match in her old school gear to close the show.
