Big Boom AJ thinks Will Ospreay is the best wrestler in AEW right now.
The social media star was an unlikely competitor during a match against QT Marshall at AEW Full Gear. The former indie wrestler dusted off his boots for the first time in years at the event. Big Boom AJ ended up beating Marshall in an impressive pre-show encounter.
Despite breaking his foot before that match, Big Boom AJ is expected to wrestle at AEW All In Texas next summer.
Big Boom AJ spoke with Denise Salcedo at the AEW All In Texas Media event. He was asked who he thinks the best wrestling in AEW is. The social media star was quick to name Will Ospreay as the best wrestler in AEW. He went on to add that he was at AEW All Out and said watching Ospreay was something he’s never seen before.
“I’m going to—you’re putting me on the spot—but I’m going to give it to… it’s Will Ospreay. Oh, I will be back in the ring. There’s nothing to wonder—big boom—AJ will be back in the ring, and it will be right here in Texas.
“That All-In … yeah, when we went out to the show in Chicago, it was because, you know, I had been watching wrestling more as a casual fan. But then, when AEW called and brought us back, we were all in on it. Getting there that night in Chicago and seeing Will in the ring—that was something I had never seen before. So, Will Ospreay definitely brings the boom.“
